"Great news!!! Baby is finally here!!! We give thanks to God for a safe delivery," the award-winning actress captioned a photo of her at the hospital in the company of her partner and their family doctor.

The bundle of joy makes the actress a mother of two since she has a daughter named Zari from her previous relationship.

Madiba second time dad

Jackie's actor boyfriend 'Madiba' is also a second-time dad. He has another baby with his ex-lover.

"Children are a blessing in more ways than one, I also have a daughter. Fatherhood is something I can't explain. It's an amazing feeling," Madiba disclosed in a past interview.

The couple made their relationship public in February this year after prolonged rumours and speculations.

It was around the same time that Jackie confirmed her pregnancy.

In May, Jackie revealed that she was on contraceptives when she conceived. The former Zora actress said she broke down because she was 'not ready.

"That day I wasn’t feeling well. I even thought I had contracted Covid-19. I had no appetite, and his cologne was irritating me. I was at a point where I never thought I could be pregnant again," she said.

"Between my last period and the time of conception, when I was getting pregnant, I was on family planning — an injection. The doctor told me I was eight weeks pregnant, I froze. I did not know whether to laugh, cry or shout. This second pregnancy, I wasn’t ready because our relationship was just in the ‘honeymoon’ period."
