The Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) Chief Executive Officer Ezekiel Mutua begins a mentorship program for the controversial pastor Victor Kanyari.

Known for his strictness regarding morals in society, Mutua through his official social media account posted a photo of him alongside pastor Kanyari revealing that he has started the mentorship class.

“I am here with Pastor Kanyari. We have just started the mentorship class,” part of the statement he posted on X reads in parts.

He further asked his followers what they would wish him to tell the pastor who is now famous because of his stunts.

Mnataka nimwambie aje? (what do you want me to tell him?)” he asked his x followers.

Pastor Kanyari’s apology

This comes just when Kanyari who is currently on the receiving end from various Kenyans over the outrageous stunts he has been pulling on TikTok in the name of content.

However, the pastor who continues to defend himself over the acts he has been pulling lately went live through his official TikTok account On Thursday, May 20, 2024, and apologized to Kenyans following the controversial gift of condoms he received in his church from one of his TikTok fans.

While issuing an apology for what happened on Sunday, May 18, 2024, Kanyari revealed that he has worked as a pastor for the last 30 years adding that it was the first time the said lady showed up to his church.

“I’m apologizing for what happened on Sunday, May 18, 2024, jambo kama hilo halitatokea tena naomba mnisamehe kwa jambo lililotekea, I'm sorry,” he said.

Revealing why he tolerated the TikToker's gift, Kanyari disclosed that he feared condemning her because his congregation would have attacked her.

"For 30 years mimi nimefanyia mungu kazi na sijawai ona kitu kama hio. Hakuna mtu akoseangi , msichana alikosea na sikutaka kumpiga au kumtusi coz washirika wangempiga,” he said.
