Azimio la Umoja – One Kenya Coalition has bagged Diamond Platnumz to perform at their final rally at Kasarani stadium on Saturday, August 6, 2022.
Raila Odinga-led coalition is holding its last rally at Kasarani as the official campaign season comes to an end this Saturday.
Saturday’s rallies will mark the end of the campaign period in accordance with the law and the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission’s (IEBC) timelines and regulations.
Diamond in Nairobi
Diamond Platnumz announced that he will be in Nairobi today, although he didn’t divulge any details of his tour.
However, sources have revealed that the artiste will be performing at Azimio la Umoja – One Kenya Coalition’s rally at Kasarani.
The Bongo singer is flying to Kenya from South Africa where he had gone to see his kids. The singer's daughter Latifah Dangote alias Princess Tiffah is celebrating her 7th birthday today.
Diamond is flying to Kenya with his daughter. The Bongo singer for the first time showed his fan his newly acquired private jet as he boarded the plane with his daughter at an airport in South Africa.
The 'Mtasubiri' hitmaker revealed he had acquired the jet while speaking during an interview with German broadcaster DW Africa.
Diamond stresses that he is forced to purchase expensive things like his Rolls Royce and the private jet so that he can be taken seriously.
“Sometimes for someone like me who came from the streets, when you buy a car worth like $1,000,000. What for? You have to do that, if not they will never value you, someone else will look like he is the real deal and you are not. In fact, I have just bought a private jet,” Diamond said.
