Online comedian Henry Desagu, whose real name is Ithagu Kibicho, has confirmed he is dating YouTuber and actress, Jackline Mbugua.
Speaking on Up-Close with Betty Show on K24 Television on Friday, November 22, Desagu, popularly known as The Prince of Mwihoko, said he decided to “get a woman, who will help him shape his career, support him in his life decisions and, at the same time, show him love”.
“As a young man, whose profile is out there in the public, it is important to get a woman who loves you and commit to that relationship. If one fails to do that, he will most likely waste his money and time on women, who are only after the fame,” Desagu, who is in his late 20s, told host Betty Kyallo.
“It is advisable that you identify one woman, stick to her and focus on art if you are an artist. So, Jackie Mbugua is that special woman in my life,” he said.
The confirmation about his relationship status came on the back of blog reports that he and Mbugua were an item.
The two share a child together.
Henry Desagu, who is popular on YouTube because of his short comedy video clips, is a Bachelor of Economics student at Kenyatta University (KU), but is yet to complete his education after he discontinued his studies to pursue comedy.
He claims there are two academic units that he hasn’t taken, and, therefore, it is impossible for him to graduate from KU.
