Socialite Faith Makau aka Amber Ray heaped praise on her Luo baby daddy Kennedy Rapudo for doing 'womanly' chores her Kikuyu baby daddy would never do.
The mother of two shared a video showing Rapudo changing their daughter's diapers as she slept in the crib.
Amber Ray said that her Kikuyu baby daddy would never ever change their son's diapers because it was taboo to him.
The socialite further narrated how she suffered at the hands of Gavin's father, lamenting that she did all house chores by herself when she had a baby to take care of as well.
"With my Kikuyu baby daddy this was a big taboo "ati hizo ni kazi za wanawake my culture doesn't allow". Na saa hizo no househelp, maji nachota kwa borehole then wash clothes (kwanza nappies), cook and still awake the whole night taking care of the baby. So my peeps, this here is one of my many answered prayers," Amber Ray wrote.
Gavin's father
Amber Ray gave birth to her son Gavin when she was just 18 years old. She really struggled to raise her son alone after breaking up with her baby daddy.
The socialite rarely talks about the father of her son but has on several occasions mentioned him without going into the nitty gritty.
In a past Questions and Answers (Q&A) session with her fans on Instagram, Amber Ray narrated how she really suffered after breaking up with her baby daddy.
She said she was forced to do all sorts of menial jobs in Githurai 45 including selling offal (matumbo) to make ends meet.
"Who is Gavin's father?" A fan asked Amber Ray.
To which she replied "ndo nini"
"Have you ever been depressed after baby daddy left? How did you feel?" Another fan asked Amber Ray.
"I left him, nikateseka nikazoea nikaona sijakufa nikaamua ku move on," Amber Ray responded.
Amber Ray further narrated how she struggled to make ends meet before her big break.
"Nimeuza matumbo, cereals 45, nimeuza maziwa, nimekua waitress and my last job nilikua head of customer care eCitizen and still in between I was trying several businesses kama side hustle. It's just that we don't look like what we have been through. We work hard behind the curtains. There's no easy way to success, ata kupata pesa poa from a man, you must have your own money. Kwanza you can't let people feed you all the time coz they are humans and humans get tired without a notice. Money goes where money is," she wrote.
