A Facebook user by the name Mac D' Mario lived to see his wedding dream come to life thanks to a social media group dubbed African Motorcycle Diaries.

In a post on November 25, just two days before his wedding, Mac shared his desired grand wedding with a brief description and attached a photo showing a couple kissing surrounded by superbikes.

Mac who says he is a small cc bike rider wrote that, unlike many people, he preferred to have bikes only during his wedding as opposed to executive cars.

"I am a small cc bike rider(SG150 mod) but I have always wanted to ride a big boys rides. This coming Saturday 27 is my wedding day I know many people preference is to drive in a long line of big engine cars, V12, V8, Limos or the classic fancy cars name them..

"For me, I wish I could have just bikes to my wedding entrance (Church) but my bike is not any fancy to be cheered as I enter the church gates. I wish a friend would come and take me as a pillion. This would be my ultimate dream come true "Riding a bike to my wedding" because I want it different I prefer it unique!" he wrote on Facebook.

The post then caught the attention of other riders on Facebook who swung into action hoping to make Mac's dream come true in such a short span of time.

One user identified as Kamau Mwangi in a post says while he didn't know Mac he immediately formed a Whatsapp group after reading the post to gather riders for the big day on Saturday, November 27.

The day was however not without challenges due to the current weather but still, they bore it all for Mac.

"He's a guy I never knew but when I saw his humble post and request I got moved and decided to immediately create a WhatsApp group and hope for the best and for sure hatukumuangusha. We came through. Ata kama mvua ilikua inajaribu kutupanga. Hio siku ilijua sisi hatupangwingwi," he wrote.

"Now this is what Christ meant when He said "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need."Matthew 6:33.For sure our brother got exactly this," he added.

Riders are known to represent especially during sad moments like funerals but Kamau urged them to always show solidarity even in good times.

"And the wedding was a success. They did their vows got to kiss each other mbele ya wazazi and danced their shoes off at the reception. For sure the True Bikers Brotherhood was portrayed vividly. And this shows that si lazma bikers wengi waonekane kwa Mazishi pekee. Ata Harusi, Dowry payments, Birthdays, etc. We can ride For Better and For Worse," he wrote in conclusion.
