Comedian Eric Omondi has revealed news of his appointments as a district ambassador in Tanzania.
Taking to his Instagram page, the comedian who refers to himself as president of comedy thanked the almighty god for the recent appointment.
"Ningependa kuchukwa Fursa hii kumshukuru Mwenyez Mungu kwa Makubwa anayoendelea kutenda. Leo nimepewa Jukumu kubwa sanaa Maishani ya kuwa balozi wa Temeke na Mkuu wa Temeke bwana Abdallah said mtinika, Mstahiki Meya (honorable Mayor)," the comedian said.

On his part, the award winning comedian promised to take up his new duty with utmost committment.
"Na mimi nitayatekeleza majukumu haya Kwa umakini sanaa. Nitaipa nguvu zote!" Eric said.
The father of one further spoke of a music festival to be held at the district of Temeke next month and which is set to be presided over by the mayor of the district.
"Uwanja wa Uhuru ipo hapa kwetu Temeke na Tamasha Kubwa ya ki historia na ya kipekee tutaifanya hapa Uhuru Stadium/Temeke tarehe 17th Julai," the comedian stated.
"Ningependa kusema asante sanaa kwa uongozi wote wa TEMEKE wakiongozwa na Mheshimiwa Mayor. Shukran zangu pia zimuendee ndugu na baba wa sanaa kubwa Fella kwa support na baraka zake kwa shughuli hii," Eric said.
Before his recent appoint as an ambassador Eric told Tanzanian press on Wednesday, June 9 that he was the intermediary between Tanasha Dona and Bongo Flava star Diamond Platnumz.
Eric alleged that Diamond Platinumz still owes Kenya dowry.
The comedian claimed that he was really hurt by Diamond’s and Tanasha’s breakup and jokingly declared that he is going after Diamond to pay the debt.
“Diamond still has debt. And he must pay because he has a son in Kenya, Naseeb Junior. They will talk with Tanasha, but he needs to pay me my money as the negotiator,” he added.
Erick hopes that the two will resolve their differences for the sake of their son Naseeb Junior.
“I was really hurt by their break-up because I personally brought Tanasha to Dar es Salam and gave her out to Diamond. He had not even finished paying the dowry. I was the one who was receiving it and taking it to Kenya,” Eric said.
