Former Starehe Member of Parliament Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has claimed her injured leg got healed after receiving prayers from a young man.

The former nominated senator identified the man by one name, Oscar, whom she said exercised his faith, prayed, and got her healed.

"Today I got so encouraged when a young man called Oscar decided to exercise his faith by praying for my legs to get healed.

"I received my miracle instantly and started walking! Sometimes even we who pray for others need the prayers," Wanjiru said in a statement on X.

To Wanjiru, the next generation is on the right path because they are following the path of the holy spirit.

"The word that we preach to others must also work for us. It is very encouraging to see the next generation walking in the gifts of the Holy Spirit; indeed, revival is here with us!

"To God be the glory!" she added.

After engaging with the police during the demolition of her church, Jesus is Alive Ministries, in Nairobi recently, the preacher said she sustained injuries during the fracas.

She linked the demolition to the Kenya Kwanza government and went ahead to criticise President William Ruto and his deputy, Rigathi Gachagua, over her woes.
