President William Ruto has scored slightly above average in service delivery to Kenyans in his 100 days in office, a new InfoTrak survey report has shown.
The President scored an average of 52.1 per cent approval rating in 12 areas under survey.
In his move to return port operations from Naivasha to Mombasa, Kenyans gave the President 59.9 per cent while his decision to appoint six judges rejected by his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta gave him 57.2 per cent marks.
The President’s pledge to launch financial inclusion through the establishment of the Ksh50 billion Hustler Fund, allocation of additional funds to county governments to support selected economic activities and improving collection of taxes through technology received 55.8, 55.3 and 52.9 per cent approval ratings from Kenyans respectively.

Further, on reforming institutions involved in justice, law, and order; the establishment of women rights agency in the of the President; implementing two-thirds gender rule; and fair appointment of women in senior public positions, Ruto was given 54.5, 53.6, 52.5 and 52.4 per cent marks respectively by Kenyans surveyed.
On improving the lives of low-income earners, lowering the cost of living and making food affordable and accessible to Kenyans, the President received 49.6, 42.0, and 39.6 per cent approval ratings respectively.
The research firm interviewed 840 people online through Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews (CATI).
The survey was conducted between December 21 and 25, 2022.
"The survey covered 47 counties and all the 8 regions of Kenya. To ensure the survey findings were representative of the Kenyan, 18+ years population, the distribution of the survey sample across the regions was proportionately allocated.
"As such RiftValley region took the highest sample size with North Eastern region taking the least," the research said.
