Two Kenyan rugby players, who were in April last year charged with rape, have been found guilty.

Alex Olaba and Frank Wanyama were on Thursday afternoon declared guilty by Milimani Law Court Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku.

The two will be sentenced on Friday, August 9.

The suspects allegedly gang-raped an upcoming female musician at their Highrise estate home in Nairobi in February last year.

In April 2018, the rugby players denied the charge, and, were, thereafter, released on a cash bail of Ksh500, 000.

The two have vowed to appeal against the decision.
