Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga has proposed Kalonzo Musyoka as his Chief Cabinet Secretary should he win the August 9 presidential election.
Raila made the announcement on Monday while unveiling his running mate, Martha Karua, at KICC.
"Kalonzo will coordinate and supervise government functions," Raila said.
Former National Assembly Speaker Kenneth Marende will make a comeback as a Senate Speaker.
"I also nominate Wycliffe Oparanya as the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury," he said.
Raila's other appointees
Others appointed in advance are Agriculture Cabinet Secretary (CS) Peter Munya who will retain his docket in the Raila presidency and Governor Hassan Joho will be the CS for lands.
"Joho will deal with the historical land injustices in the coast region within the borders of the Republic of Kenya once and for all," he said.
