Kenya Power announces planned power interruptions in Kiambu county

Kenya Power on Friday evening announced planned electricity interruptions in Kiambu county.

According to a statement by the utility company, the planned interruption is part of routine maintenance and will be witnessed from 9 am to 5 pm.

"Good evening. The following areas will be affected by planned maintenance tomorrow 21.10.2023," the utility company wrote.

The planned blackout will affect areas such as Red Hill Heights, Red Hill Villas, Mulango farm, Wet farm, Thingati, Sovereign Suits, Munyaka, St Julian's, potatoes research, Rurigi farm, the retreat, terasol farm, Eva's garden, ACK church red hill, Limuru international and adjacent customers.

Other interruptions

The recent development comes hours after another interruption was witnessed in Pokot and Siaya counties.

In a statement, Kenya Power acknowledged that the power outage was part of routine maintenance.

"Good evening. The following areas will be affected by planned maintenance tomorrow 20.10.2023," Kenya Power wrote.

In Pokot county, the planned blackout which began from 9 am to 3 pm was witnessed in Ortum, Cemtech, Sebit, Murpus, Sina, Chepkorniswo, March pass, Sigor, Lomut, Sarmach, Kainuk and adjacent customers.

Meanwhile, in Siaya county, the power interruptions witnessed from 9 am to 2 pm were witnessed in Biyogo farm, Rangala Girls High School and Mission, Kobare market, Ndere market, Dominion farms, Lake Kanyaboli, Nyalula market, Obambo Secondary School and adjacent customers.
