Former Likoni MP, Masoud Mwahima, has died.
His son, Juma Mwahima, said the veteran politician died on Monday night at 11 pm while at his home in Likoni, Mombasa County.
He said the former MP had been ill, battling asthma and diabetes complications.

"He has been unwell for some time, and last week on Sunday he developed breathing problems since he had asthma. He was treated at Saint Thomas Hospital Likoni and put under medication," said Juma.
Mwahima lost his Likoni seat in the 2017 General Election to Orange Democratic Movement's Mishi Mboko.
He will be buried at his Vyemani home on Tuesday afternoon.
