Successful applicants

Those whose green card applications were successful have been notified of the dates when their visa interviews at the U.S. Embassy are scheduled for.

Note that even if your green card application was successful you can still be denied a U.S. visa if your interview at the Embassy is unsuccessful.

Unsuccessful green card applicants

If your green card application was not successful, you can still try your luck again in the DV-2025 program.

After the applicants for the DV-2024 program are selected, the U.S. Department of State will open the DV-2025 program for applicants to apply.

There is a limited period of time during which one can register for the Diversity Immigrant Visa (DV) Program during each fiscal year.

Note that the registration for the green card lottery is usually done two years ahead, between the months of October and November.

For instance, the DV-2025 program will open between October and November 2023 and applicants will know the status of their application in May 2024.
