Socialite Faith Makau alias Amber Ray set tongues wagging after she was spotted with Kennedy Rapudo weeks after speculations emerged about their split.
In a video shared by local YouTuber Vincent Mboya, the socialite was seen leaving a club before joining Rapudo who was waiting in his Range Rover.
When asked what gift he had prepared for Amber, Rapudo said that he was going to surprise her
The two later drove off to an unknown destination.
Earlier before their rendezvous, Rapudo shared a sweet message accompanied by a photo of Amber Ray in a black dress.
He wished her a happy birthday and good riddance as she turned a year older.
"When the world brought us together, it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I wish you a happy birthday. Happy birthday mama @africanahrapudo 🎂🎊🎁. Pop champagne 🍾🍾 send rich bill,(SIC)" Rapudo wrote.
Breakup?
The two caused a stir online last month after Amber came out to reveal that Rapudo had assaulted her while drunk.
"The love and unity that a marriage should stand on becomes blurred, and eventually it leaves you drained. I have been in that environment for a while now, and my peace and safety have made it impossible for me to stay. The bruises and scars go beyond the physical, and for my own sake, I have to choose me," Amber Ray wrote.
But in a response, Rapudo addressed the complaints and confirmed that they had separated after the incident.
"There's been so much activity concerning my marriage in the public domain these last couple of days. Like any other marriage, we've had our moments of ups and downs and ours isn't perfect either. A lot has been said but I've not had the strength to address it.
"Yes, we've separated over an incident that happened while we were both drunk on the night of 13th this month. It's an event that should have never happened and I feel very sorry and in deep regret that it happened mostly to the person that I swore to protect and love with all that I had," he stated at the time.
