The moribund National Super Alliance (Nasa) is split down the middle over the removal of Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala as Deputy Minority Leader.
Senator Malala is targeted for removal on Wednesday morning after surviving several attempts.
The Kakamega leader is a close ally of Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi who has been at loggerheads with the dominant Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party in the Nasa coalition.
