Zari Hassan warns Tanasha Oketch two months to her due date

Ugandan socialite and entrepreneur, Zari Hassan, has warned Kenyan radio presenter Tanasha Oketch to prepare to be a single mother if her [Tanasha’s] lover, Diamond Platnumz, hasn’t ditched his deadbeat tendencies.

Speaking to Tanzania’s Ayo TV recently, Zari Hassan said that Diamond Platnumz has proven – twice: with her and video vixen Hamisa Mobetto – that he can neglect his parental responsibilities.

“Pregnancy is a beautiful thing, but I would advise Tanasha to be ready to take care of the child alone because… we can see [that Diamond has deadbeat tendencies],” said Ms Hassan, who shares two children with the award-winning crooner.

“If you look at his cycle with the other woman [Hamisa Mobetto] and myself, [his deadbeat] pattern is replicated,” said Zari Hassan.

-Zari: People do change-

The mother-of-five, however, ruled out a 100 per cent probability that the musician would ditch Ms Oketch shortly after giving birth, saying “people do change”.

“Sometimes people change. We cannot authoritatively say that he would abandon Tanasha the same way he left Hamisa and I. Maybe he learnt his lesson – that he lost someone good because of his selfish deeds. People change. We should give him the benefit of a doubt,” said Ms Hassan.

The Ugandan entrepreneur said until late December 2018, she hadn’t heard of a woman called Tanasha Oketch.

Zari says she only got to know about Ms Oketch when Instagram users began tagging her on Tanasha’s posts.

“I have never spoken to Tanasha, nevertheless,” said Zari Hassan.

The famous socialite said she is happy that her superstar ex-lover has moved on.

“Diamond Platnumz and I are no longer together. I am in a happy place. I have someone who is amazing. Diamond, on the other end, has met someone whom he is expecting a baby with. I am happy for him because he was supposed to move on. He has the right to be a father as many times as he wishes,” said Zari Hassan.

Zari Hassan and Diamond Platnumz went separate ways on February 14, 2018, with Zari accusing the “Make Me Sing” star of infidelity and disrespect.

Diamond Platnumz, on the other hand, accused his baby mama of “flirting” with Nigerian superstar Peter Okoye formerly of P-Square.

Diamond Platnumz announced the beginning of his new relationship with NRG radio host Tanasha Oketch in November 2018.

Tanasha, 24, and Diamond, 29, are expecting a baby boy in September this year.

Diamond Platnumz so far has three children – a 1-year-old son with Hamisa Mobetto; a 3-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son with Zari Hassan.
