W***n faints after her attempt to seduce married man backfires

A middle-aged woman from Morogoro in Tanzania recently collapsed after the man she was interested in rebuffed her love advances.

Tanzania’s Global Publishers says the woman walked up to the man’s grocery store located in Lunna market, Morogoro, and boldly professed her undying love for him.

The wife of the middle-aged man, identified only as Mwanakwetu, was also present as the woman chatted her husband up a short distance away.

“When she came to my shop, I was in the company of my wife, who suspected that the woman is a customer, just like many others. The ‘customer’ pulled me aside, and told me that she was interested in me, romantically. She further said that for the longest time she had wanted to be with me,” Mwanakwetu told Global Publishers.

“I was taken aback by her courage. Rarely do we see women boldly approach men and profess their love so directly,” said Mwanakwetu.

The shocked trader said the woman had previously tried to gather the courage to make her feelings known to him, but she just couldn’t.

Mwanakwetu said on the day that the woman amassed the courage, she appeared drunk.

“When I inquired why she looked tipsy, she told me that she had imbibed on alcohol so that she could get the courage to approach and express her feelings to me,” said Mwanakwetu.

The grocer, thereafter, told the woman that he was married, and was not interested in a relationship with her.

That response, seemingly, broke the woman’s heart, leading to her collapsing there and then.

The incident caught the attention of curious onlookers, who arrived at the scene and rushed the woman to hospital.

It was later that Mwanakwetu’s wife, identified only as Grace, learnt what had just transpired.

An angry Grace confronted her husband, demanding to know why he was flirting with another woman in her presence.

It took the intervention of another man, Abdul Mrisho, who repairs bicycles in the neighbouring shop, to calm down Mwanakwetu’s wife, Grace.
