Stivo Simple Boy's ex-girlfriend Pritty Vishy has faulted the rapper over his fallout with his former management Men In Business (MIB).

Vishy insisted that MIB CEO Vaga Genius tried his best to manage Stivo, revealing she knew the rapper was in safe hands when she handed him over to the management.

"Seeing Vaga being blamed I feel bad coz that man has tried so much. Ameeka investment yake kwa the so called musanii. I was there before I was there before I left and I knew the msanii is in good hands," Vishy wrote in part in a post on Instagram.

Stivo's ex-girlfriend, additionally, disclosed that Vaga took loans to pay Stivo's bills. She warned the musician of unspecified consequences if he will not be patient.

"Vaga had to take loans so that he could pay some bills for him. I swear if he msanii will not be patient enough mmmmh…. I know you all call me names and wish I can shut up but what you forget is I know because of this and through that I was able to get Vaga for him and I knew he is in safe hands," Vishy stated.

Stivo's ex-lover also claimed that Vaga treated the musician like his own brother, buying him personal items like shoes.

"Vaga (the manager) treats him as a brother you can imagine a manager buying shoes for you just because he bought for himself. That was love and he did a lot. Anyway let me talk #Bitterex."

60/40

Speaking during an interview with Obinna, Vaga revealed that MIB's contract with Stivo stipulated that they share revenue from his music works in a ratio of 60 per cent and 40 per cent - with the bigger percentage going to the management while the latter went to the musician.

However, Vaga disclosed that the management had to pay Stivo Simple Boy's Ksh16,000 monthly rent, cater for his food, clothing and transport to and from events.

Asked how many performances Stivo had since he was signed to the label, Vage said; "Kama ni mob ni five (just five)."

He added that the highest amount Stivo was ever been paid for his performances was a 'meagre' Ksh50,000.

Asked about the minimum amount Stivo has ever been paid, the MIB boss said it was Ksh30,000.

"I will be honest, we got paid 30k," Vaga said.

MIK

Stivo Simple Boy had similar issues with his former management Made In Kibera (MIK).

The rapper's ex-girlfriend Purity Vishenwa alias Pritty Vishy complained numerous times that Stivo’s old management MIK gave him a raw deal.

Stivo quit MIK in April 2022 and joined MIB. The latter management terminated their contract with the rapper on June 26, 2023.

MIB ultimately decided to cut ties with Stivo amid accusations and counter-accusations.

“We would like to notify you that we no longer wish to proceed with our musical contract with you. This letter serves as a notice to you and our intent to terminate the contract is lawful and in accordance with protocols,” MIB said in a letter.

“Please note that your cooperation will be needed during this period of transition for smoothing running of the termination process. Termination of the contract will be effective as of 31st July hence we have 35 days of tabling both parties’ interests for a smooth transition, during the process all projects will b paused and a lawful process of events will be followed in accordance,” the letter added.
