Bongo super star Diamond Platnumz’s sister, Queen Darleen is single after breaking up with her husband, Isihaka Mtoro Suleiman.
The singer’s controversial sister got married to Isihaka as the second wife in a colorful wedding ceremony in 2019.

She announced the end of her marriage to Isihaka in a series of updates on her Instagram page on Wednesday, July 20.

In her message, without giving much information, she noted that she left the marriage for the sake of her child.
“I have accepted to leave someone I love for the sake of someone that I love the most. I love my son Balqis Isihaka Mtoro so much. My elders will understand me,” Queen Darleen said.
Leaving is not a shame
In August 2021, Queen Darleen sparked reactions after making statements suggesting that her marriage could be on the rocks
Speaking in a presser, she failed to address claims that she had been dumped by her husband, noting that nothing will ever hurt her.
"I'm not ready to speak about it. And if I have been dumped, then my life continues. There's nothing that hurts me, marriage is not a shame and being left is also not a shame
“If you are tired of being where you are, then make a decision, not let people dictate your life,” she said.

The 35-year-old wedded her husband as a second wife at a private Islamic wedding which was not attended by Diamond.
Local blogs reported that the singer hurriedly married Isihaka after learning that she was pregnant with her second baby and hence wanted to avoid embarrassment, claims she refutes.
At the time of the wedding Diamond was out of Tanzania for performance gigs in Sierra Leone and Guinea Bissau.
Queen Darleen said Diamond wanted to have the wedding postpone until he returned but she convinced his brother to give her his blessing and go on with the wedding as she had planned.
