Controversial Nairobi pastor James Ng'ang'a has announced plans to build a new city within the next 10 years.

The Neno Evangelism pastor intimated to a local publication that the city to be built at Nkatatei in Kajiado county would be dubbed Jerusalem. He noted that the city already has 70 children who are currently pursuing school in grades 1-4.

While revealing his plans, the man of cloth affirmed that the city will be established on a 50-acre piece of land he purchased three years ago.

"I bought this land three years ago and already I am constructing a big church here and already I have 70 children who are going to school in grades 1-4. I also give them food, uniform and shoes," he stated.

He stated that those attending regular church services will have the privilege of trying out facilities such as a hotel where they will have food to eat, a shopping mall, a bank, and an institution for higher learning such as college or a university.

"Already we are building a big hotel here where people who come for prayer services and night prayers will have a place to eat food. Those who will be coming for the normal church services in the near future will also use the facilities and so we must prepare ourselves for the future," he added.

Apart from that, the 68-year-old man of God says he has already sunk three boreholes and has since appealed to more partners to join him in his mission which he says will build the future.

He noted that so far, around 250 people book the place to use for prayer services.

"Each Sunday after the church service I give relief food to about 200 worshippers who come to worship in this church. I am appealing to more partners to come and join me in building the new city here," he stated.
