Kenyan actor Pascal Tokodi and his wife Grace Ekirapa are celebrating their daughter Jasmine Ariah Lenguro Tokodi as she turns 19 months old.
The proud mother took to her Instagram page and penned a heartfelt message, expressing the joy and gratitude she feels for being a mother.
Grace Ekirapa shared the love and appreciation she has for her toddler.
"My baby, I can’t even remember how my life was without you. Today you are officially 19 months. You have grown beautifully before my eyes. I have watched every milestone you have hit, and I am in awe that such an all-sufficient and magnificent God would entrust me with the role of being a steward to this perfect gift that I did nothing to deserve," she wrote.
The TV host went on to acknowledge that even though it wasn't her daughter's birthday, it still felt like it, as she gets to know more about her each day.
"I have watched you grow in favour with God and Man, and being your Mum has brought so much Joy to my life. It is not your birthday today, but it sure does feel like it every day because I get to know you better every day, I get to see God through you every day," Ekirapa added.
The mother of one also explained the meaning of her daughter's name.
"As your name Jasmine (Gift of God) and Ariah (Melody), you truly are God's gift to me, and you fill my heart with the most beautiful melodies."
"I Love you beyond Words, and I love God for trusting me enough to give me you. One day you will read this, and I want you to know that You were loved before you existed, you were planned for, you are a dream come true for us, your parents, and nothing gives us more joy than to be called your parents," she stated further
Pascal, Ekirapa relationship
In a previous interview, Pascal revealed that he married the media personality months after meeting her at a Java point.
"I felt hungry so I entered Java to grab something to eat and that is when I saw Grace," he revealed.
He went on to praise her noting that one of the reasons he loved her was that she had no scandals.
"We looked at each other and I jokingly proposed on that day. She is a good lady and has no scandals.
I had known Grace for months before we got married," he added.
