Musician Mwanaisha Abdalla alias Nyota Ndogo has come out to dismiss a recent list where she was recognised as the second wealthiest artiste in Mombasa.
Taking to her official Instagram account, the artiste insisted that she was not as rich as the list had claimed and that she was struggling to keep up with her finances.
She also wondered what criteria was used to formulate the list since she was having financial problems.
The veteran artiste worried that the category she was placed in was likely to make her an easy target to criminals targetting wealthy individuals who may go after their lives.
"Ati mimi tajiri kati ya wasanii wa Mombasa, ati mi namba mbili, hivi account yangu yenyewe yasoma zero sijui hawa hua wanatabiri matajiri vipi mwenyewe nina stress ya pesa sina pesa alafu naekwa tajiri namba mbili, nyi ndo mnatusababishia sisi kufatwa twataka kuwawa twataka kupokonywa magari magari yenyewe ya kununuliwa mwanieka namba mbili matajiri hio accounti yangu zero sufuri," she stated.
Loosely translates to: "I was listed as the second richest musician in Mombasa, I wonder what criteria was used to determine that since I am having financial problems. It is for such reasons that we as artists are exposed to thugs who may want to attack and kill us, I am broke and should not be featured as the second richest artist,"
The mother of two further suggested that she should have been listed among the least wealthy artists to match her current financial status.

Loosely translates to: "Please don't put us at risk, it would have been better if you placed me among the last, although I would wish to know which criteria was used to determine this,"
