Controversial Tanzanian socialite and video vixen Gigy Money is allegedly behind the cancellation of Eric Omondi's Wife Material Season 2.

The 24-year-old mother of one is said to have caused commotion during the shooting of the show and that efforts to calm her down went futile forcing Eric to cancel it.

Gigy then took to Instagram to call out Omondi noting that he was behind the disagreement among the cast and that he is just after 'clout.'

“Your brother Eric wants to trend, that’s why I get paid but he doesn’t have respect for women and he makes us fight so he can get content. You want the show but you don’t care about woman or 'hoe material'. He doesn’t know who we are,” Gigy wrote, before quickly deleting.

Gigy is however not new to drama. In January 2021, Wasafi TV was banned for airing her performance at Wasafi Festival Tumewasha, Dodoma Edition by Tanzanian Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA).

The regulatory body banned Wasafi TV for six months and asked Gigy to pay a ksh50,000 fine.

She is said to have removed her gown during the performance exposing most parts of her body to the public - a move that violated communications rules that restrict airing of x-rated scenes in Tanzania.

Eric Omondi reported to netizens that the show that had been scheduled to start on Monday, May 24, was disrupted by a ‘rogue’ contestant.

” Unfortunately, one of the contestants went completely and utterly ‘rogue’ and despite numerous attempts to control the situation, the atmosphere in the house has not been conducive for the show to continue, ” Eric stated.
