Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has finally opened up about his long-standing feud with legendary rapper Octopizzo.

The two artistes have been known for their simmering rivalry over the year.

Speaking to Oga Obinna, the 'Yes Bana' hitmaker delved into the roots of the feud, revealing that Octopizzo had never been fond of him.

"Hanipendangi uyo boys, kuna tu mtu hunafeel hupendangi, na huwezi mblame, damu tu zilikataa," Khaligraph explained.

Adding, "Ata siwezi mblame, ata ningekuwa yeye, singejipenda, singependa Khali."

Pressed about whether there was still a lingering beef between the two, Khaligraph Jones dismissed any notions of animosity, asserting that he has outgrown such conflicts.

"Buda sai niko 33," he declared, highlighting his maturity and growth beyond petty rivalries.

Khaligraph Jones also took the opportunity to express his respect for Octopizzo and his recent endeavours.

"I respect Octopizzo for his hustle," Khaligraph Jones stated.

"Anapiga modeling fiti and we respect that," he added.

Furthermore, Khaligraph Jones took a moment to reflect on Octopizzo's journey from humble beginnings in Kibera.

"I respect him so much coz jamaa came out of nowhere, he came from Kibera," Khaligraph Jones emphasized.

"Whether you love him or not, you gotta respect the grind. Just to see him elevate the way he has, you got to respect him, na mimi namrespect Octo sana," he added.

In a past interview, Octopizzo rubbished claims that he and Jones were beefing noting that he had no bad blood with anyone in the industry.

“I don't have a grudge against anyone in this country. If there ever was one, I don't think it exists now. It eventually just went away on its own. You probably already know that most of the time when you don't react to something, it just goes away," he explained.

The 'Kilo on Kilos' crooner also revealed that he and Khaligraph exchange pleasantries when they meet but they never call each other on the phone dispensing any beef claims created by the internet.
