Media personality Kamene Goro is now a married woman.

Kamene married her fiancé DJ Bonez in a colourful wedding with the location tagged Morocco.

The 31-year-old had an intimate ceremony with family and friends in attendance to witness her saying 'I do'.

She adorned a rose gold strapless gown with the DJ wearing a pink blazer, black trousers, and a pair of white sneakers.

The news of their union was shared by her former radio co-host and Lang’ata Member of Parliament Felix Odiwour.

"Congratulations my sister @kamenegoro and @deejaybonez254 on your wedding day! Love you, guys,” the MP wrote.

Kamene Goro and DJ Bonez got engaged in Diani in 2022, which she says was two years into their dating although they had been close friends for a couple of years.

“We became official two years ago. We knew each other six or seven years ago. We weren’t talking. We did not like each other at all. We started with beef! It was a mad beef. He used to say I am a ratchet,” she said.

Kamene has been keeping it real with topics surrounding marriage and is quoted as saying that she would not like to have a traditional wedding.

On her social media, Kamene said the dowry negotiation ceremony otherwise known as ruracio is "something she doesn't think she would do".

This was her response after hinting at a major announcement where she asked fans to guess what it was.

This was not the first time Kamene shared unconventional opinions.

Kamene on childbearing

Previously, Kamene Goro said she was not interested in having children.

At the time she said she was not ready to keep up with the sacrifices attached to child-bearing.

“Kids are not in my plan. It is a bit tedious and they are a lot of sacrifices and it is one I probably don’t want to make. Plus they are expensive, think of school fees, health care and more,” she said.

"I don’t want a little version of me. What will I do with a little version of me?” she piqued.

She stated that the pregnancy journey is limiting and a lot more time-consuming than she liked.

"This whole nine months thing looks like a lot of time, what I have heard about pregnancies is very scary. There's giving birth, it's not an easy thing. I want to have full liberty over my life. I want to wake up and say, I want to go to Zanzibar," Kamene Goro said.
