Private investigator Jane Mugo has revealed that she is single and not searching after finding out that her husband had affairs with women all over the country.
The heartbroken spy queen took to social media to narrate how she started receiving calls from multiple women after her engagement in July 2022.
Mugo said that the women told her that her husband was dating them and had even promised to marry them.
"When I posted about my engagement in July, I received congratulation messages from my followers, media, enemies, family and friends. Mad respect for you all. Same day I received Dm (disturbing SMS) photos from four women in USA, Pokot, Kitale and Kisumu.
"They were all bitter but honest to me because this guy had played them online and promised marriages fact he was outside Kenya he had not met them. All this happened when I was bedridden in hospital after the kidnapping. I later joined campaigns so I was busy but we spoke daily. He did it online. I choose to ignore them because I was determined to make my marriage stand," Mugo narrated.
The spy queen noted she decided to overlook her husband's behaviour until October when she was convinced he had not changed and opted to walk out of her marriage.
"This month he jetted back into the country. His schoolmates, neighbours, mother (my mother-in-law) confirmed to me he has not changed. To me it's not about my happiness, but you cannot hurt your own mother, ex-women, blood children, lie about your career then you treat me like a queen. A woman is crying, I respect hearts. I have dignity," she wrote.
Ring and gifts
The controversial private investigator further declared that she was single and not searching, revealing that she would return her ring and all the gifts that was given to her by her estranged husband.
"Am confirming am single, busy, happy and not searching. Am returning ring and all gifts to the sender. It's not worth fighting for. You still claim to love respect me," she wrote.
"Thank you KDF family for telling me the truth. Thank you my followers and Pokot community for being honest. Thank you Steve my brother-in-law you really tried. Thank you everyone who sent me exhibits and but I confirmed this month it's because you love me😘😘. Social media has power. Let's get up and serve God and community. Human beings can be narcissist. #NBI prayed God to bless me with a husband, Devil sent this 😘😂♥️😭," she added.
Engagement
Mugo married her man after dating secretly for a while. She shared the pictures of her engagement on her Facebook and Instagram pages in July 2022.
The private detective said she had never shared her personal relationship story online but thought it was time to declare she was no longer single.
“God, I have never shared my love journey on social media, but since I decided to encourage someone, confession, God fulfils His promise, and I found my perfect match. He has made me become a better woman. If you are in a broken relationship or seeking true love, it exists,” she wrote in a now deleted post.
Soldier
Mugo introduced her sweetheart as a retired soldier who worked for Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) before moving to the private security industry – a field that may have brought them together.
“This man is the other part of me. God-fearing, courageous, aggressive, intelligent, in security, but very private. Even the mighty fall in love. KDF Kenya, continue fighting for our sovereignty. Your tough training and discipline has built my man,” she added.
She said at the time (in July 2022) that she was to introduce her man to her family in Kirinyaga county in September when they were to hold their Ruracio (the ruracio must have happened since in the latest post Mugo described herself as the man's wife. Ruracio is a traditional wedding).
The spy queen was to walk down the aisle with her sweetheart in a white wedding in December.
