‘God of Larry Madowo remembered me’- Bien says as he signs Ksh50M deal

Record label Sol Generation has announced the signing of Bien Aime Baraza for Ksh50 million in a three year deal.

The announcement was made during a press conference held on Friday, November 5, 2021.

In a social media post, Bien wrote he was beyong excited to join Sol Generation as an artist as he owns the record label.

"The chairman stays overworking and today the God of Larry Madowo remembered me. I am beyond excited to officially join @solgenerationmusic as an artist. Mambo ya aki Bien we need a favor na kunilipa na exposure imeisha. The chairman is respected. Hapa ni shangwe tu na MBWE MBWE. My first solo project 'Bald Men Love Better' w/ @aaronrimbui is Out Everywhere. Go stream!"

This comes as Sauti Sol group which includes Bien, Willis Chimano, Polycarp Onyango and Savara Mudigi embarks on solo projects.

The boy band which came up in 2004 still remains signed under Universal Music Africa.

At the same time, Bien dropped his new EP dubbed Bald Men Love Better, featuring the legendary pianist Aaron Rimbui that serves as an impressive introduction to his new home/role.

Bien now joins fellow artists including Bensoul and Nviiri The Storyteller who starred in big projects releasing good music including Nairobi and Niko Sawa.

The manager expressed confidence in the new signing saying;

"We think you’re going to feel right at home with your decision to sign with Sol Generation. @bienaimesol were excited for the magic that’s coming."
