Kenya Pipeline Company's (KPC) board has shortlisted three candidates to fill the position of managing director left vacant after the sacking of Joe Sang in 2018.

In a brief statement to newsrooms, KPC chairman of board John Ngumi said the interviews were conducted by the board between November 21 and 22.

"The names of the three candidates who scored the highest in these interviews have been forwarded to Petroleum and Mining Cabinet Secretary," he said.

The State corporation re-advertised the position in September, in what the board said they could not find the adequate number of qualified applicants to proceed to the next stage of interview.
