Former nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura is confident that all seasons end following his appointment as the new government spokesperson.

Through his official X account, Mwaura expressed his delight saying he is now ditching jeans and signature kitenge attires for suits - albeit on a light note.

"Manzee!! Nimerudi zile stori za kuvaa masuti na ndio nilikuwa naenjoy mavitenge na majeans! Kila kitu na majira yake aisee!!" he stated in awe.

Mwaura took over from Cyrus Oguna who resigned from the position in October 2022 after he was appointed to take up the position of Chief of Staff in Siaya county.

The appointment of the former senator was part of the reorganisation of the Executive by the President in accordance with Article 132 of the Constitution.

During the announcement made on Wednesday, October 4, State House Chief of Staff Felix Koskei said Mwaura will be deputised by former TV anchor Mwanaisha Chidzuga and Gabriel Muthuma.

Mwaura was among the 50 Chief Administrative Secretaries (CAS) appointed by President Ruto in March.

He was, however, yet to assume office after the appointments were suspended by the High Court. The orders were issued following a petition lodged by the Law Society of Kenya.

In a previous statement, Isaac Mwaura expressed utmost gratitude for the opportunity and appreciated President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua for the appointment.

Glory be to GOD! He is indeed so very faithful to those who wait upon HIM. What GOD has kept for you HE will surely make it come to pass no matter how long! Many thanks to President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua for appointing me as the Government Spokesman! So help me GOD," Mwaura wrote.

Adding;

"#Tbt 11 years ago when KJ, Wanga and I were 34 32 30 yrs respectively. We had ambitions to be MP, Woman rep and senator respectively. We not only did, but also, Governor. It is my first official day as a Government Spokesman. All dreams are valid, Thanks to GOD #Inawezekana."
