Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has stated that he is readily available to assist world record holder Faith Kipyegon with investment ideas.
Speaking at State House on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, the country's second-in-command affirmed that all athletes should seek ways of investing their returns so that they are able to fully reap from their labour.
The DP regretted that it was sad to see famous renowned successful people living in abject poverty after making poor financial choices.
"I ask our athletes to be prudent in the way they invest the earnings they get out of their accomplishments. It is very saddening when we see people who have been successful, famous living in poverty," he stated.

While urging the athletes to be prudent in their investments, the DP offered to 'guide' Kipyegon in making great investments.
"I want to invite Faith and everybody else to look for ways of investing and Faith should you have a problem in knowing how exactly you can invest what you are going to earn, I am available and a very prudent businessman. I can guide you around to make sure that you succeed.
"This is also a success story for the hustler nation. We have also asked Faith to dignify the Hustler Nation by investing wisely succeeding, and employing ten or twenty more Kenyans so that people know that something good can come from the Hustler Nation," he stated.
He also lauded athlete Ferdinand Omanyala and urged him to be a good ambassador for the National Police Service (NPS) and the government.
