Esther Musila has expressed gratitude towards radio presenter Maina Kageni for introducing her to her now husband, Guardian Angel.
While celebrating Kageni's birthday, Musila said the presenter played a pivotal role in their love story, as she was introduced to Guardian Angel during a lunch meeting on March 13, 2020.
She expressed her everlasting indebtedness to Kageni for being a significant part of their journey together.
Esther, Kageni's friendship
The bond between Musila and Kageni has been strong for over 15 years, evolving into a cherished friendship.
Musila described Kageni as a remarkable person and a wonderful friend, emphasizing their enduring connection.
"My sweetheart, @mainawakageni you are sooooooo many things to me. You deserve all the best wishes in the world because you are a great person and a wonderful friend of mine," she wrote in part.
"Our friendship spans close to 15 years…You introduced me to the man I now call my husband, and although this wasn't our plan when we had that lunch on 13.03.2020, I believe God had his own plans, and you are part of our beautiful love story and I will always be indebted to you," she added.
In an Instagram statement, Musila expressed her admiration for Kageni, acknowledging the valuable lessons he taught her about enjoying life to the fullest.
She considered herself a devoted student of his teachings. Musila concluded her message by asking God to protect Kageni and expressing love for him and his family.
"You taught me how to enjoy life unapologetically, and I believe I am a good student of yours. May God continue to guide and protect you all the days of your life. Musila and Guardian Angel tied the knot on January 4, 2022, in an intimate ceremony held in a friend's garden, with only a few guests in attendance.
Their relationship had attracted attention due to their significant age gap of 20 years.
Musila, a career woman, musician, and content creator, celebrated her 53rd birthday in May.
