Renowned comedian Eric Omondi has announced plans to embark on a world tour in his mission to feed Kenyans.

The tour dubbed 'Woiye Tour' is a global fundraising campaign aimed at providing financial assistance to fellow Kenyans to cushion them against harsh economic times.

Omondi's decision comes shortly after the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) announced an increase in fuel prices following the implementation of a 16% tax on fuel which has since been temporarily halted by the court.

During his recent tour in Tanzania, Omondi successfully collected Ksh140,000 in Dodoma, and he intends to continue his efforts in cities around the world.

His goal is to gather funds that will contribute to alleviating the financial burdens faced by many Kenyans.
