Popular singer Wilson Abubakar Radido alias Willy Paul has appealed to fans and journalists to avail themselves at his house claiming that his life is in danger.

In a statement shared via his official Instagram, Willy alleged that individuals posing as police officers had pitched camp at his house accusing him of knocking down a pedestrian.

The musician denied the allegations insisting that it was a trap to kill him

Defending his sentiments, the musician claimed that the officers had used a similar narrative to harass him last year.

He subsequently called on journalists and individuals who knew his residence to rush to his house and chase away the officers

"I've been told that there are police officers outside my house Syotani Villas waiting for me saying I knocked someone and ran away, they want to kill me!!! The same thing happened last year. If something happens to me mjue ni watu wamevaa uniform and theyre outside my house right now.

"Emergency if you know my place rush…all media houses!!!! They are trying to swt me up!!" the musician wrote.

A section of fans, however, made fun at his situation claiming that it was a strategy to release a new song, others claimed that the 'Sitolia' hitmaker was chasing clout.

"Maybe Kaligraph is shooting a video outside, and you don't know 😂" a user identified as gaspop9 said.

Another user DJ Amm posed "What's the name of the new jam?"

The latest comes months after the singer complained of an attack at his Saldido studios by unknown gunmen.

Willy while condemning the attack, alluded that the armed men were working for a person known to him.

"I wonder why you'd do that, boss stay out of my life. Sending people with guns to my studio won't help. Leave me alone. I'm 10 steps ahead. Consider this a warning. I may look stupid but I'm not," Willy Paul said.

He did not disclose the motive of the attack or whether he incurred any damages or losses during the attack.
