‘Eve Mungai and I both receive Ksh800k monthly salary’ – Trevor shares receipts showing his YouTube earnings

YouTube couple Director Trevor and Eve Mungai earn millions in revenue from their YouTube channel which has provided direct employment to 14 people.

Director Trevor opened up about his YouTube earnings during an interactive Questions and Answers (Q&A) session with his fans on Instagram.

He revealed that his wife and he each earn a Ksh800,000 monthly salary from their YouTube channel.

"Is it true Eve Mungai earns more than you?" Trevor was asked.

"As employees of Mungai Eve Media, my wife and I both receive a monthly salary of 800k. Each! Money that is generated through YouTube instream ads and Facebook. Even if angekua anaearn more than me to me it's not an issue for us. We believe in equal opportunities and value eac value each other's contributions to our family and the company. Our focus is together on working as a team, supporting and empowering each other to achieve our goals. We believe that financial success should not be limited by gender, and we embrace the equal earning potential that exists in our relationship," he replied.

"I have been in this game for two years, but I don't understand how you guys accumulate good revenue," a curious netizen asked Trevor.

"We try to major in exclusive interviews that lead to a higher CPM and generate more revenue by providing unique content, attracting a larger audience, appealing to premium advertisers, improving audience targeting, and creating sponsorship opportunities," he answered.

Trevor further shared receipts that showed their annual income from YouTube in 2022 was a staggering Ksh13.6 million.

"Bro how much do you earn from YouTube yenu yearly?" A curious netizen asked Trevor.

"I don't know exactly how much but that (Ksh13.6 million) was last year," he replied.

Eve Mungai's husband also shared receipts showing they spent Ksh1.1 million in the month of August alone. Note that in August this year, Trevor gifted his wife Ksh500,000 in cash as she celebrated her 23rd birthday.

Trevor also shared screenshots of his MPesa transactions.

Trevor also revealed that so far they have a staff of 14 employees.

"What course did you take in campus?" Another fan asked.

"Diploma in mass communication. JKUAT main campus Juja," Trevor replied.

"What's your role in Mungai Eve Media as the co-founder?" Trevor was asked.

"As the co-founder/CFF of Mungai Eve Media online media, my role involves overseeing the overall strategic direction of the company, managing day-to-day operations, building and leading a talented team, fostering partnerships and ensuring the company's growth and success in the ever-evolving digital media landscape," he replied.

"In five years where will you be Mr Director?" Trevor was asked.

"In just five years, I will proudly stand as the owner of the largest online media company in East and Central Africa, revolutionizing the way information is shared and consumed across the region," he replied.
