After what seems like years of speculation surrounding the relationship status of Trevor Ombija, the TV personality has revealed he is off the market and he is officially a dad.
Speaking to Ankali Ray on Milele FM, Trevor revealed he recently welcomed a son whom he named after himself - Trevor Ombija Jr. However, he said he is done having children.
"Yeah, I am a dad. I didn't know how long they recommend one to singlehood. I revealed I was single two years ago but now I have left the market. I'm however not married yet. Kuoana ni badaaye," he noted.
When he was asked about having another child he said; "Wacha nikwambie sipiti hapo. Mtoto mmoja ni hivo."
Trevor initially shared the happy news of the arrival of his child on Instagram, posting a photo of the newborn, gripping one of his fingers saying;
"I think Trevor Jr. was trying to tell me something on #Fathersday but I don't speak "Baby" too well, so he resorted to hand signals. There's no kind of love like a parent's love, this I can say without fear of contradiction."
Trevor Ombija heartbroken
Trevor Ombija's relationship status piques interest since in August 2021, he revealed he was single and not looking for a partner.
At the time, he said he was badly heartbroken and his efforts to reconcile his failed relationship of 10 years were in vain.
"I was badly heartbroken. I am single and not looking because I need to fix myself first. Everybody deserves the best version of the other person. Don't go into a relationship when you are broken. Right now I will admit it
"I am from a relationship that lasted 10 years. It is one of those relationships that were over, then they are back again. I actually took dowry to her home in December 2015, then akaniacha. She said that she needs to find herself," he recounted.
Adding;
"Nilijaribu ku-force issues for a while! You know when you are dumped and then you try to insist that you can work it out. Ukiachwa achika. I have accepted and am fixing myself," he noted.
According to the father of one, he resorted to working out to heal his broken heart.
"Those weights are heavy. There is no day the gym will say I don't love you anymore. You can count on that and not human beings," he said.
