Tanzanian model and actress, Wema Sepetu is celebrating her birthday after a five-year hiatus from the birthday scene.
Talking to Tanzanian media during her extravagant birthday party, Sepetu revealed that she had chosen her previous birthday celebrations to be lowkey and intimate.
"Sijasherekea birthday kwa muda kidogo, nimekuwa nkifanya ile I will just chill nkaona this time kwanini nisicelebrate. I have everything to celebrate," she explained.
However, this year, the beauty decided to make a triumphant return, driven by a profound sense of accomplishment and gratitude for the many blessings in her life.
According to Sepetu, one of the standout achievements that took centre stage in her birthday celebration was her blossoming relationship with her boyfriend, Whozu.
In addition to celebrating her romantic journey, Wema proudly marked a life-changing decision she made to quit drinking, a milestone she successfully reached in May 2023.
"Nacelebrate maisha yangu, lakini nacelebrate maisha yangu ya mapenzi, nacelebrate mafanikio yangu ambayo nimeweza kuya achieve, nacelebrate kuacha pombe kwangu kwa hivyo nacelebrate vitu vingi, I deserve a celebration," she asserted.
"Every day is a reason to celebrate, and the older you grow, the more reason there is to celebrate," she added.
When asked about her age, Wema responded with a playful "No comment."
