Best thing about being a TV Presenter?

I take it as a platform to engage with viewers from all walks of life and get to understand them even in the weirdest of situations.

One thing that many people do not know about you?

I was a sprinter in high school and used to do all sorts of gymnastics.

Biggest misconception people have about you?

That I am a snob.

Memorable country you have ever been to?

Dubai. It has a state of the art infrastructure, modern sites and sight-seeing attractions.

What’s the sweetest act anyone has ever done for you?

When I got a baby, my mum came to stay with me. She literally did every work a nanny would do— and the fact that my dad allowed her to come over while he was left to live like a bachelor was touching. It meant the whole world to me. It’s priceless! I don’t know how to pay them back.

Best place you have ever visited in Kenya?

Mt Kenya. It’s home away from home.

Worst advice you have ever received?

Wearing a ‘Superman cap’ will make me more attractive.

Best childhood memories?

Climbing trees and swimming in the grass. I had no idea that swimming pools existed, I knew about rivers though.

Best and worst work experience?

When we are working as a team, which increases collaboration, brainstorming and productivity gives me the best moments at work.

Worst was when I was working as a communication centre agent and language barrier was a huge challenge. If someone wanted some services and was not able to explain themselves well, they would end up getting mad and felt that you should learn their language ... with over 200 nationalities in one country, really? (Though not in Kenya)

Worst habits?

Waking up in the middle of the night to make tea for myself.

Best way to relax?

Soaking my feet in warm bowl, drinking a cup of hot chocolate.

Hardest decision you ever made?

Moving out of my parents’ house.  I couldn’t imagine starting life by myself; it was scary for the first few months

Best advice you ever got?

That I should be myself and never be apologetic of who I am.

What is your best physical feature?

 Hips.
