Two pupils of Nyatuoni Primary School died on Thursday, March 11 while on a school trip at Riamusa Waterfalls in Etago Sub-County, Kisii County.

The male learners aged 13 and 15 drowned in River Riasota, which flows out of Riamusa Waterfalls.

Etago OCPD Joel Chesire said the two Grade Three pupils drowned after slipping into the river while touring Riamusa Waterfalls, where they had gone on a Competency-based Curriculum (CBC) study.
