K24 Television will on Saturday, October 3 broadcast a football match between Chelsea FC and Crystal Palace.

The early kick-off scheduled for 2:30pm will be played at Chelsea’s home stadium, the Stamford Bridge.

Both teams have played three games each, with Crystal Palace, which sits sixth in the English Premier League (EPL) table, amassing six out of the maximum nine points. The Eagles have a goal difference of two.

Palace lost against Everton by 2 goals to 1 in last Saturday’s fixture played at Goodison Park. Before then, the team had beaten Southampton by 1 goal to nil in its first match, which was played at Palace’s home stadium, Selhurst Park, on September 12. A week later, Palace continued its winning streak by defeating Manchester United 3 goals to 1 at the Old Trafford.

Chelsea, on the other hand, sits at Position Nine in the EPL table after garnering four out of the possible nine points from three games. The Blues have a goal difference of zero.

Chelsea has won one game, drawn one and lost one in its first three matches.

The team beat Brighton & Hove Albion in its opening match held on September 12 at Brighton’s home ground, the American Express Community Stadium.

Chelsea, which played at home a week later, lost 2 goals to nil to Liverpool.

Last weekend, Chelsea had to come from three goals down to draw with West Bromwich Albion in a match played at West Brom’s The Hawthorns Stadium.

Crystal Palace has, of late, been christened the Big Boys Slayer after defeating several teams in the Top Six in recent seasons.

Will they make it nine points out of four games on Saturday, or will Chelsea mount pressure on the Top Four teams by defeating The Eagles? Keep it K24 Television on October 3 at 2:30pm.
