Tanzanians are over the moon after national football team captain Mbwana Samatta sealed a transfer move from KRC Genk to Aston Villa in the English Premier League On Tuesday,21st 2020.
Samatta was playing in Belgium before his move and wasalso the captain for his team which won the Belgian title last season and where finished as the top scorer in the league.
He represented Tanzania at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations and is thereigning holder of the Ebony Shoe - the prize awarded to the best African player in Belgium.
