This makes her the 4th female artiste in Africa to reach that milestone after Nigeria's Yemi Alade hit the figure last month.

The singer who joined YouTube in January 2019 has also garnered a total of over 327 million views from her sweet melodies and hit songs dropping back to back.

The bongo sensation who has topped the African charts on different platforms has ‘Sukari’ as her most-watched video amassing over 73 million views.

Her other most popular videos on YouTube include; 'Nyumba Ndogo', 'Litawachoma', 'Cheche' among others.

To celebrate this milestone, Zuchu wrote;

“Thank you so much, 2,000,000 million subscribers on YouTube. First East African female artist to ever reach this milestone! The 4th female artist in Africa.

"Mind you, within just two years in the music industry. God is good. We cannot stop now, we have a life to live, a country to represent and a point to prove. Let's keep pushing.”

Zuchu was also the first female artiste to hit 100K subscribers in the shortest time on YouTube.

She received the Silver Plaque from YouTube Management within one week of joining the streaming platform shortly after being introduced as the newest member at the WCB Record Label.

She has since then been breaking new records constantly.
