We hope peace prevails after elections – Raila

Azimio la Omoja- One Kenya alliance presidential hopeful Raila Odinga is advocating for peace even as the nation awaits presidential results.

Raila while speaking at St. Francis ACK Church in Karen, Nairobi County, shared a message of hope to Kenyans quoting a prayer on peace.

Raila Odinga quoted the peace prayer of St Francis which states:

"Lord, make us instruments of Thy peace. Where there is hatred, let us sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is discord, union, where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy."

This is the first time the ODM party leader is making a public appearance after he cast his vote on August 9th.

Raila is flanked by Langata MP-elect Phelix Odiwuor alias Jalango, COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli, Former Baringo county senator Gideon Moi and former Kalonzo Musyoka's running mate Andrew Sunkuli.
