A woman who passed away has reportedly come back to life at a mortuary in the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City, Edo state.
According to an eyewitness, Pharez Okpere, the woman’s body was deposited at the mortuary by her family and after they finalized documentation, they left.
Anatomy students at UBTH were said to have gotten set to use the body for practical when she suddenly woke up and they fled.

The eyewitness Okpere, in a Facebook post, shared a video showing students and staff in the mortuary premises expressing shock at the incident as the woman walked out.
"A woman was brought in dead by her family members to the mortuary in UNIBEN they finalized all the documentation and left, as the Anatomy students was about to start work on the woman she stood up and everybody took off. The woman has a second shot at life," the post read.
