Vivian Ntimama, the youngest child of Late cabinet minister, William Ole Ntimama, has died.

Vivian Ntimama succumbed to a heart attack at her Nairobi home on Friday morning, her elder sister, Lydia Ntimama, has told K24 Digital.

The deceased was an officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Lydia said Vivian was preparing to go to work, when she collapsed and died while taking a shower early Friday.

Vivian’s family says she had complained of chest pain before the fatal attack.

“Doctors confirmed that my sister succumbed to heart attack,” said Lydia.

“Vivian was a hard-working person,” added Lydia, saying: “It is saddening to lose a sibling. However, I would urge online users who find out about someone’s death to always hold that information until family is informed.”

Vivian’s body was taken to the Lee Funeral Home as burial plans are made.

The late Ntimama’s daughter has died aged 40, and is survived by a husband and three children.

Her father, who served served as chairman of the Narok County Council for 15 years and as MP and minister for 25 years, died on September 1, 2016. He was aged 86.

Ntimama passed on shortly after retiring to bed in his Narok Motonyi home.
