Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko will be the guest on K24 TV political show, Punchline, on Sunday, August 25.

The county chief’s interview comes on the back of increasing dissatisfactions among a section of Nairobi residents, who feel Mr Sonko is yet to deliver on his key campaign promises.

Another section feels the governor is deeply immersed in the political showbiz at the expense of constructive leadership.

Known to be a domineering interviewee, who comes to the set with only one main agenda – to drive home his narrative – will Punchline host, Anne Kiguta, extract responses from the governor, who sections of Kenyan viewers have branded as a “difficult yet entertaining interview guest”?

Ms Kiguta says she is up to the task and aims at making a meaningful interview outcome that will satisfy city residents, and Kenyans at large.

Some of the questions the city boss is expected to address range from the State of Nairobi economy, his political plan in 2022, alleged corruption at his office, his perceived integrity shortcomings and the poor sanitation within the city.
