A family at Webuye Township wants justice for their daughter,15, who has been continuously defiled by his biological father.
According to the minor’s mother, the girl's father has been defiling her repeatedly with their efforts to seek an audience with the police and children department bearing no fruits.
“My estranged husband Peter Kiberenge has been defiling our daughter repeatedly with efforts to get help from relevant offices bearing no fruits. He has even issued us with threats continuously.”

According to the lady, they separated with the suspect and he took the opportunity to separate the two children, sending the eldest to her grandmother’s home.
“He took advantage of our separation to abuse the minor as he provided everything for her and warned her that if he disclosed he was sexually abusing her he would kill her.”
The lady says he learned of the incident through a neighbor when he returned to the area to attend the funeral of an acquaintance.
“I attended a funeral in my former matrimonial home and got wind of the incident and when I asked my daughter she disclosed that she told her grandmother who never took any action.”
According to the victim, his biological father refused her move to another bedroom and insisted they share one bedroom.
“I was sleeping when my father came into my room and insisted that I join him in his bedroom. I declined but he insisted and I obliged. While I was sleeping he removed my clothes and started defiling me. I tried to make noise but he threatened me with dire consequences,” the minor said.
She adds that she told her grandmother of what happened that night but she warned her not to tell anybody.
“We usually pick milk from my grandmother’s house and when I told her of what had happened she warned me not to disclose it to anybody as it will bring harm to my father.”
She adds that her dad had repeatedly defiled her and efforts to stop him have fallen on deaf ears.
“Sometimes he does it even in front of people and I lie to people that he is showing affection to me.”
Now the girl’s mother has called on relevant authorities to move with speed and arrest the culprit to save the distraught girl
“My ex husband brags on how he has pocketed the local police and true to his word I took the medical report and nothing has been done up to now. I’m calling on the county commissioner and area deputy county commissioner to help me apprehend my errant husband.”
