Was the Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika slapped by a presidential guard in Nakuru?

This is the question in the minds of Kenyans after a video clip emerged showing the outspoken legislator being 'assaulted' by a person believed to be part of the highly trained commandos.

The incident is said to have occurred when about 10 MPs were waiting to receive President Uhuru Kenyatta outside Nakuru County Assembly on Wednesday.

The Head of State was in Nakuru to open  a new ultramodern office block dubbed Ugatuzi House before hosting Kenya Music Festival Winner’s gala at State House, Nakuru.

Although Ms Kihika has not commented on the veracity of the 10-second video clip, she dismissed as fake a screenshot spread on social media claiming she had condemned “in the strongest terms possible the assault against me.”
