Roots Party of Kenya Presidential candidate George Wajackoyah has revealed that if Kenyans elect him as the next president, he will plant bhang in all public land to help in paying the national debt.

While speaking in Embu County where he graced the Chogachoga concert festival at Njukiri, he claimed there is a big chunk of public land lying idle and that, he says, if utilized well, the national debt will be settled.

He said that, for instance, the Galana-Kulalu will be filled with Cannabis Sativa.

The Roots Party leader said apart from growing the drug for commercial purposes, it will also be used for medicinal purposes.

He added that he will disband all prisons saying that anybody who will be implicated in any form of corruption will be subjected to a death penalty.

Wajackoya to revisit KEMSA scandal

The presidential hopeful further stated that the first task he will be performing after assuming office, if elected President, is to follow up on the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) scandal for suspects to face the wrath of the law.

"Those found guilty with corruption cases will be subjected to a cruel death," Wajackoyah said.

He stated that his government will not tolerate graft at any time.
