The long-awaited World Rally Championship held at Naivasha over the weekend ended with the famed ‘Subaru boys’ stating that they enjoyed the rally and that they have no regrets about the event.

"It was all fun from the main event to the after party. I was at the Park n Chill event at the Villa Ground in lake Elementaita.  Now I am back in Nairobi full of hangovers. The hyped event turned out to be good no regrets of attending," Maulid Ali, one of the Subaru boys told K24 Digital.

However, for some, it was not a good event as the traffic messed up the plans they had.

Vincent Maina, one of the Subaru boys advised that in such events one should never go with his main woman since she might meet someone better at the event.

"The reason why Subaru boys choose to go with side chicks to Naivasha is because they have insecurities that their main girlfriends may find a better person and dump them. It also helps us socialize with other girls too. Your side chick won’t care seeing you with another woman out there," Maina said.

For Kelvin Musyoka, a Toyota enthusiast, those who attended the rally are now feeling the pain in their pockets after a weekend of merry making.

He placed a bet with some Subaru boys that Toyota Yaris will win the race. On Sunday evening, when Sebastian Ogier won with the Toyota Yaris model, Kelvin pocketed a great amount that has made him recover the big amounts he spent in Naivasha.

The hiked prices of products, tents and the hotels were not enough to convince party goers from spending.

However, the event did not end without some drama after some drunk ladies fought over a boyfriend.  The two hurled insults at each other attracting criticism from members of the public.
